January and February highlights at Fractal

It's 2020 -  the start of a new year, and a new decade

We are grateful to have been able to contribute to such a thriving industry for the past few years, particularly in 2019, and we are excited to see what 2020 will bring for Fractal, the fintech industry and of course, for consumers and small businesses.

We anticipate a busy few months, and we will be announcing some exciting news very soon.

Here's what's on our agenda for the end of January and February.

28th - 31st January: DIT Mission to Vienna and Austria

Fractal CEO and co-founder, Nicholas Heller, will be visiting Vienna and Austria for three days along with the Department of International Trade to scope out the market's appetite for fintechs such as ourselves.

If you are in the country, and want to know more about how Fractal’s solution empowers financial services providers in the EU, then please do get in touch.

30th January: Australian-UK Fintech Reception at the Australian High Commission

As we continue to expand internationally, and increase our presence in Australia, events such as the Australia-UK Fintech Reception gives us the opportunity to learn more from other institutions with similar ambitions, and find out more about the market.

Our Communications Manager, Lisa will be attending. If you want to know more about our expansion into Australia, then please get in touch.

5th February: HM Treasury Roundtable

We are pleased to have received an invite by the British Chambers to an event hosted by the ABCC, who are supporting a visit by HM Treasury next week. This will include a series of stakeholder roundtable discussions. The discussion will help identify barriers and opportunities for financial services firms in Australia, in support of the strategy development of the UK-Australia Free Trade Agreement.

21st February: Fintech 101: UCL student visit to Fractal and Deloitte

Fractal and Deloitte will be hosting a group of UCL Journalism Masters students eager to learn more about finance and emerging technologies. Fractal CEO and co founder, Nicholas Heller, a senior Deloitte representative and a senior bank representative will be talking to the students about the current fintech environment, and how external events such as Brexit will impact the industry.

The group will be led by Camila Reed, Director and Digital Media and Strategic Communications of Global Voice.
